- The ProWave creation idea followed about in time I was
- creating new DirectX game.
- The problem was that I could not find any free&good program to
- edit my own WAV files. I wanted to slide volume in the end of the file. <font
- SIZE="-1">I had Sound Recorder, FastTracker, Blaster Master, WinDat. All these programs
- had no such effect (FastTracker did only with mono samples). I was programming for
- DirectSound and I wanted to know how this WAV sounds in different Primary and Secondary
- Sound Buffers formats. I've created a new engine for playing long WAV's in my games. So I
- decided to create a small simple program just to edit and play WAV's. The project began in
- 1998 summer.

- understood three good things: write more comments in your code (unfortunately I always
- forget about it), read more various SDK (thanx Microsoft and all INET men), don't forget
- to go outside time in time.
